IC-M90E VHF Marine Transceiver
- The IC-M90E is essentially two radios in one rugged package. The transceiver is a full-featured waterproof VHF marine radio with easy access to all marine frequencies. With a touch of a button, it becomes a professional-grade PMR transceiver with features such as 100 programmable land channels, state-of-the-art voice scrambling, digital signaling, and hands-free operation.
- Tough, Waterproof for Heavy-Duty Use: The IC-M90E is submersible (IPX7*), with rugged polycarbonate construction and an insert-type battery to prevent water intrusion. A “speed water removal” system removes water from the speaker grill to prevent audio distortion.
- Large, Well-Labeled Buttons: Transparent, clearly labeled buttons ensure operation even with gloves. Labels will not wear off as they are printed from behind.
- Wide LCD Allows Wide Viewing Angles: The high-intensity LCD provides bright, readable characters. Adjustable contrast and backlight in 4 levels, with a status LED on the front panel.
- 100 Programmable Channels: The IC-M90E supports marine and PMR applications with 100 programmable channels (146–174MHz), CTCSS/DTCS signaling, and wide/narrow channel spacing. Includes a built-in 32-code voice scrambler compatible with UT-112.
- Optional VOX Headset: VOX capability allows hands-free operation with adjustable gain and delay. Compatible with HS-94, HS-95, or HS-97* headsets using OPC-1392 adapter. * Not waterproof. VOX settings programmable via software.
