The JAX-91 Weather Facsimile Receiver is the paper-based recording system. It is easy to check by the automatic printout function. On top of it, a new function characterizes that as a suitable frequency is automatically selected on checking wave propagation. Frequency selection and timer operation in the area of the same broadcasting station are enhanced.

  • TA Reliable and Flexible Operation
  • 15-Inch Wide Weather Facsimile
  • The JAX-91 operates in four start and stop modes:
    • Fully Automatic: All operations are controlled by remote control signals under WMO Recommendation, ensuring error-free recording.
    • Semi-Automatic: Automatic phasing and start by manually setting an index of cooperation and a scan speed.
    • Manual: Start and stop, as well as phasing, are performed manually.
    • Programmed: Operations are programmed using the internal timer for unattended, error-free operation.
  • Fine Half-Tone Recording: Pictures of clouds are recorded in 16-level half-tone gradation for high-resolution and clear images.
  • Synthesized Receiver: Capable of setting any receiving frequency from a ten-key pad, with up to 90 preset spot frequencies in memory.
  • Printout of Frequencies and Program Lists: Up to 90 memory frequencies and 15 program lists can be printed on recording paper.
